The VT-WJH Wooden Joist Hanger is designed for elastic suspension of plasterboard ceiling from a wooden joist. The hangers are installed on the side of the wooden beams thus minimizing the loss of free height. There are two main types of elements; springs and Regufoam pads. What to use depends on the required resonance frequency of the suspension. The elastically suspended ceiling must also be de-coupled from surrounding walls by using for instance self adhesive elastic strip VC1001.
